BEWARE OF THE LAME DUCK!

Beware of the Lame Duck! As we all know a Wounded Animal is Potentially the Most Dangerous. This Session of Congress is no different.

These People won't give up the Farm! They are farming our money and wasting it. They can't seem to break their addiction.

After the November 2 Elections intervention, we thought they'd be on the road to recovery and actually work on the Smaller Government and Controlled Spending issues.

But NO, they're at it again!

For those that haven't noticed, when the Media locks onto unrelated issues instead of Bills up for Vote, Beware! Consider these smokescreens as a warning to take a look at what's going on in Congress.

What stories has the National News Media been pushing this week?

The "Royal Engagement" (not even the wedding) media blitz or "Are your naked photo's being released by Airport Screeners and could that person patting you down be a pervert?"

Did you lock onto either of these stories this week? If so, the Media did their job. They kept your eye off the ball!

What did you miss? The pending Bill S.510 - Food Safety Modernization Act.

Wow! Another 1,000 Page behemoth. Loaded with more controls and more bureaucracy aimed this time at farming. Not only big Agriculture Farms will be affected, but possibly what you grow in your home gardens and any seeds you may have collected. Your little garden may be harboring a diseased crop that could potentially destroy our great Nation!

While major farming conglomerates may be able to handle the additional financial strain caused by this bill, Small Farms may not. In fact, if the conditions in this bill are fully implemented small farms will disappear.

As with STIMULUS and the HEALTH CARE mega-paged bills, no one is fully sure what is lurking inside. So, did your Representative read the complete bill, did they understand it? If not how could they vote on it?

The Overreaching Food Safety Act

This bill includes hiring 17,000 new bureaucrats(indentured voters), operating expenses in the Bill will cost $1.4 Billion dollars and food producers will spend Hundreds of Millions trying to comply.

Who will pay for all of this? YOU, because the price of food will definitely go up.

Combine that with the $600 billion of un-backed dollars that the Federal Reserve released days after the November 2 Election event,(You didn't notice? What were you watching?) devaluing the dollar by an estimated 10% to 20% percent, What could go wrong?

Just because we won the battle in early November, don't think these feisty Lame Ducks are going to stop.

As usual they will work under cover of the biased Media. They will continue on their path as before. If the Lame Ducks can't slip it by us, watch for Presidential Decrees or the FDA to finish the job.
